On productivity: protecting mornings for build time
Meetings crept into 9am slots until I had no uninterrupted blocks. Coding happened in 25-minute fragments between calls—expensive for hard problems. Meetings now start after 1pm three days a week. Two days are meeting-light for partnerships only. Mornings are sacred for implementation. Async updates replaced half the meetings. The team didn't need my real-time presence as much as I assumed.
