On productivity: keeping a single weekly shipping goal

My todo list had forty items labeled urgent. Nothing shipped. I switched to one outcome per week written on Sunday: "Ship CSV export" or "Fix onboarding drop-off step 2." Everything else went to a backlog or trash. If the week ended without the goal done, I didn't start new work—I finished or cut scope until it shipped. One goal feels slow until you count twelve shipped outcomes in a quarter versus zero finished projects in the list graveyard.
